I have encountered this problem and I know you too. In the beginning I’m very confused in what to use for my dogs since there vast amount products scattered around both online and offline.  Plastic  or  Wire  Crates? I have found out that the answer to this problem really relies on you. The below article is just an overview in the pros and cons of both crates. Hopefully after reading this, you will have a clear picture in what crate is suitable for your dog.

Which is Better Plastic or Wire?

There are numerous large dog crates on the market today however most of these kennels falls in to types: plastic or wire.  Most of us dog owner ask this question: which is better of the two? In my experience I started Creamy with a plastic dog crate and eventually a wire dog crate. I can say that Creamy is pretty satisfied with his homes.

Through the years we have used both plastic and wire crates for various reasons. Creamy really loves to go outside and when he does we setup a wire crate for him in the porch. In travelling we prefer to use plastic crates since quite light and portable compared to wire counterparts.
